Google Calendar
- Open Google Calendar:
- Visit Google Calendar and ensure that you're signed in to your Google Account.
- Locate "Other calendars" on the left sidebar:
- On the left side of the page, you'll find a section labeled "Other calendars." Click on the "+" icon next to it.
- Choose "From URL":
- In the dropdown menu, select "From URL."
- Enter the ICS URL:
- A new window will appear. Enter the ICS URL you want to add in the provided field.
- Click "Add Calendar":
- After entering the URL, click the "Add Calendar" button. Google Calendar will then attempt to fetch and integrate the calendar events.
- Wait for synchronization:
- Google Calendar will now attempt to synchronize with the provided ICS URL. Depending on the size of the calendar and your internet connection, this may take a few moments.
- View the added calendar:
- Once the synchronization is complete, you should see the newly added calendar under the "Other calendars" section.
- Customize calendar settings (optional):
- Click on the three dots next to the calendar name to access additional options. Here, you can customize the color, notifications, and other settings related to the added calendar.
That's it! You've successfully added an ICS URL to your Google Calendar. The events from the external calendar should now be visible alongside your primary Google Calendar events.
- Open Outlook:
- Navigate to Calendar:
- Click on the "Calendar" icon in the bottom left corner of the Outlook web page.
- Add Calendar:
- On the left side, under the list of calendars, click on the "+ New calendar" option.
- From the Internet:
- Choose "Subscribe from web" or "From the internet" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter ICS URL:
- Paste the ICS URL into the provided field.
- Add Calendar:
- Click the "Import" or "Subscribe" button.
- Customize Calendar (optional):
- You may have the option to customize settings such as the calendar name, color, and update frequency.
